Henry is a lawyer and registered trademark adn patent agent based in Kuala Lumpur. Prior to founding CH Phoon Intellectual Property Group, he practised exclusively in intellectual property and information technology law at one of Malaysia's largest and top-tier law firms.

Dual-qualified as both a lawyer and a trademark and patent agent, Henry has extensive experience in both contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters. His practice encompasses the prosecution, enforcement, litigation, and commercialisation of IP rights. He regularly advises and represents a broad spectrum of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, government-linked entities, established multinational corporations, medium-sized enterprises, and fast-growing start-ups.

Together with his team, Henry has the capability and experience to manage large and complex IP portfolios across multiple jurisdictions.

Henry is also one of only 58 certified IP valuers in Malaysia, with a strong commitment to advancing the practice of intellectual property valuation.
